At Bannerman Productions we believe in simplicity. We’ll help you put together a social media advertisement that perfectly represents your business, and we do it in three easy steps.
Arrange
This is the first step. Once you’ve decided you want an ad, get in touch and the process begins! We ask for an initial deposit of £50 so we can start the ball rolling.
The first thing we need to do is get to know you and your business. To do this properly we need to spend some time around you and what you do. This might involve us spending some time at your premises if you have them, and if you don’t, don’t worry, we still try and get to know you as well as we can! Being around you and your business helps us to build a better picture of your service and customers.
Once we know you a little better, we can start to build themes, talk about music and figure out which parts of your business/service you’d like to showcase the most.
Create
Step two is the fun part! If you have a shop or premises we’ll come and do what we call a ‘walkthrough.’ This is where we come and basically walk through your shop. We take photographs and start to think about which parts (if any) of your store wold be useful to feature in the ad. We take photographs of anything and everything that might feature and decide on some initial filming ideas. These photographs are then turned into a storyboard. This is a really important part of the process for two reasons:
It gives you a rough idea of how each shot will look, please bear in mind we do stress the word ‘roughly’, but any changes you might want to make are made here.
It gives us something to work from when the camera rolls, making the whole process a lot smoother.
Storyboarding
Once you’ve seen the storyboards and you’re happy, then filming can begin!
If you don’t have premises don’t worry! Storyboarding is still an important step in the process.
If you do have premises though, we ask that, if at all possible, you try to allow us to do our work outside of your usual operating hours. This is to minimise disruption to your business, your customers, and our process.
If you want to star in your own ad, great! If you’re camera shy that’s ok too! We offer the facilities for you to record a voiceover and tell people about your business/service without you ever having to appear in front of a camera. Don’t want to do that? We can help! We all have experience in voiceover work, so you provide the words, and one of us will be your voice! If you’re struggling with what you want to say we can help there too! We’ll work with you to put together a script. It’s the full package! We do recommend that you do your best to have some input though, because nobody knows your business better than you!
And that’s a wrap! At least as far as your part goes. We still have some work to do.
We’ll go away and start putting together your ad from the footage recordings done in step two.
Deliver
This is the third, final and most exciting part of the process. This is where you get to see your ad!
Once it’s ready, we aim for a week but we ask that you expect it to take around 10 days, we’ll be in touch and arrange to meet with you so you can see your fully edited ad for the first time.
We can meet at a time and place that’s convenient for you, and this is the final point at which you can suggest changes or edits, but please be aware there may be additional charges for any major changes or reshoots.
Once you’re happy, and the remaining balance has been taken care of, the ad is all yours!
